My work is about process. Like life, experience adds richness to the result. The layering and texturing represent the chaotic nature of our lives and reflect the way our attentions are continually divided. But in the end, we are able to navigate the information to form a coherent whole and are fulfilled by the journey as well as the destination.

In my work, I leave artifacts of the trip I take on the way to the final solution.I have always been influenced by architecture. My work reflects a strong sense of design and structure. My father worked for Albert Kahn in the 1960’s and taught me to draw in 2-point perspective when I was 10. I received my BFA from Pratt Institute in New York City and worked in advertising and graphic design for many years before taking the leap to fine art.

It has always been my dream to be a painter when I grow up.

Thanks to everyone who made this year's LOVE Auction a success! It was great to be a part of it and always wonderful to talk with collectors. I especially enjoy hearing about why they collect what they do. Ran into a couple who acquired a piece of mine about 10 years ago- it was wonderful to hear how much they still enjoy it as it hangs over the fireplace mantle in their living room.
